I haven't written for sometime and I haven't made pots since early in April. My oldest high school buddy phoned me and said when you aren't making pots there's something wrong. I started back at the wheel today and it felt good. I haven't had much to say that would compare with what the smartest man in the world is saying. How can I say anything as sensational.
I was motivated to go back to the studio by some friends that bought pots on line and encouraged me to make more. Then Chris Snedden Past President of Fusion Clay and Glass Association asked me to do a 2 hour webinar Makers Meet on June 14th. I'm inspired to put on a good show so back to the studio and back to the creative process where I have lived all of my life. I should know better than to mix politics and business but I have had more than enough from The Smartest Man in the World. He is destroying my favourite country other than Canada. I love America, the beauty of it, the people of it, and the different cultures within it . The Dorito has done all he can to bring hatred, violence and anger to my second home. This famous paragraph comes to mind.

My wonderful American friends - do something for Gawds sake to stop this monster. I want to come back in 2021 but as long as he is in power I will avoid America like the plague. I think this may well be the feeling of the rest of the world.

Due to the worldwide pandemic, Pride month needs to be celebrated a little differently this year.
In 2020, Pride month celebrations are all being moved online.
These online events have been named Pride Inside, and will be a virtual celebration of the LGBT communities.
The celebrations will include various artists, musicians, comedians, DJs and activists all coming together for a series of performances, talks and workshops honouring the LGBT community.

If a cop tells you to give them your phone during a protest, they're usually in the wrong.
police officers have a history of intimidating members of the public collecting video evidence and demanding they stop.
Pen Canada states that officers who prevent people from recording them are violating charter rights. Unless you’re being arrested and they have a search warrant, police officers can’t take or go through your phone against your will. Police can’t force you to tell them your locked phone’s password either.
Now, some advocates are calling for police forces to be defunded and taxpayer money to be redirected. Defunding the police means redirecting the budget for police forces to other services that focus on social supports, mental health and even spaces like transit.
Shifting the money to fund organizations that understand the nuances of mental health issues and the challenges faced by racialized communities would be a better use of taxpayers' money.

Cancel culture refers to the popular practice of withdrawing support for (canceling) public figures and companies after they have done or said something considered objectionable or offensive.
