With Great Sadness

Today news from home of the passing of my long time friend Jan Phelan. We were pals for well over 40 years. I have fond memories of staying with Jan and her former husband Gord Burke. We would drink Drambuie and talk plans and pots into the early hours. Jan was a remarkable artist. Her signature unmistakable. I have few words to say in this post as my heart sinks to levels I never knew existed. Too young, too soon, too beautiful both inside and out. It just ain't fair. Jan I am toasting you tonight.
