It's been awhile since I've written my blog. Y'all see pics on Instagram of fabulous meals, laughter, good company and me having the time of my life. There is a lot of hard work you don't see. Brian and I worked solidly for 6 weeks. The working pottery become classroom wasn't readied by a fairy from heaven. The wood kiln and wood didn't magically appear. The studio wasn't cleaned and prepped for another group of students and a weekend workshop by a good samaratan. Oh, the kiln shelves to be ground, the firebox to be vaccumed and the posts ground and washed for the next firing. Who gunna do dat?
Brian and I clicked on so many levels. We both show up. We do what we say we'll do and deliver. We do it sometimes at personal cost. It's called being authentic. Say what you're going to do and then deliver. Authenticity requires vulnerability, transparency and the big one "integrity".
In spite of the hard work I had an amazing time visiting my longtime and new friends in the South. I feel so gifted to be so welcomed in my friends "Casa Amigos". You have to be a friend to have friends.
All y'all know who you are. I love yawl dearly.
Here is a sprinkling of photos of loved ones. Some are missing but not in my heart.
I could build a castle of memories I just don't know where to build it. Memory is yesterday. I've always said "Hope needs to offer more than memory!" My hope/ my wish for all of us to live life large, be authentic and have fun.
I think I must be tired since I'm being so reflective.

Embattled Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in the hot seat on Parliament Hill Wednesday, where he still refused to answer these questions.
there were briefings detailing allegations that “Chinese government officials were funnelling money to Canadian political candidates” which “asserted that Chinese officials in Toronto had disbursed money into a covert network tasked to interfere in Canada’s 2019 election.”
Trudeau continues to suggest he was not told of 2019 or 2021 election tampering by communist Chinese elements.

At this point, it seems mighty clear that, despite the denials, cabinet was well aware that numerous intelligence reports had uncovered evidence of China interfering in successive Canadian elections well before the story was made public in November. It doesn’t really matter whether Prime Minister Justin Trudeau bothered to read the reports, as he is ultimately responsible for his government and, as far as anyone can tell, Ottawa did nothing to counter this direct threat to Canadian democracy.

Youth Must Have Truth
How can we educate our youth In an environment of untruth? Environment where black is white, Where night is day and wrong is right, Where money talks and might's the law And truth, a weakling without awe!
And in a desperation's need Who is there yet, amidst this breed That we can take our dilemma To gain an inkling of some law That would suggest some form of truth By which to educate our youth.
There is our government, but then, When it comes to the truth, Amen! And even greater our distress With T.V., radio, FOX NEWS and press, Where money making gets the nod... Regardless how it's made, it's God!
It's obsolete what schools would teach, As also is what preachers preach... Our world is not what truth has sprung, It is a world gone very wrong! And into this world come our youth, Who had been taught, but, not the truth.
