Starworks Intensive Course with Tony Clennell and Friends
I am very excited to be leading this month long intensive course in The Pottery Capital of USA Seagrove/Star, North Carolina.
I was given license to write the curriculum and pick some artists to teach along side of me. This is not a pottery boot camp where learning to centre and making a thin walled cylinder is the focus of the course. This is a course for intermediate to advanced makers that want to be fully immersed in clay to develop a signature in their work. Participants will eat, sleep, talk and share pottery for an entire month. They will be in the fine company of potters that have walked the walk and are very fine teachers so they also can talk the talk. The chosen 8 participants will be staying in The Star Hotel which is a grand ole house with a huge kitchen and individual bathrooms.
