How much crazy can you handle?

How much crazy can you handle is an inside joke I share with my Georgia brother Doc Agel. This may well be the craziest piece I have ever created. Slip cast vazzzzzze with dark sculpture pink stoneware base, stoneware solid spout with nasty additional pieces, blue ash glaze, wood fired porcelain. . You name it and I did it! : “The rich and the idlers seek the new, the extraordinary, the extravagant and the scandalous. I have contented these people with all the many bizarre things that come into my head. The less they understand, the more they admire it. By amusing myself with all these games, all this nonsense, all these picture puzzles, I became famous. I am only a public entertainer who has understood his time.” (Pablo Picasso, 1881-1973) Well I never became famous and a potter works for peanuts compared to a painter. I do however believe that the workshop curcuit is performance art. I miss the audience, I miss the performance, I miss the comradery, I miss the hugs, I miss the banter, This will be the first year in 4 years that I have to stay at home in my basement studio. I ain't going to let it get me down. I'm going to focus on new work from my gas kiln. I neglected that kiln in favour of the wood kiln. Since I have had a hard time putting my team together for wood firing I will make new work, exciting gas fired work, that will feed me thru the lonely months of the winter. Be well and safe my brothers and sisters of clay. I love you and miss ya a bunch. Txox

Haven't you heard about the secret underground railway for snowbirds that is operating in Ontario?

You take a helicopter ride from Kitchener or Hamilton to the Buffalo airport.
Your vehicle is transported by flat bed truck to Buffalo, where you are reunited,
and you can drive down to Florida, and avoid all that hassle of border crossings.

Great way to get across the border, without the travel restrictions.

I know it's not appropriate to make fun of people with mental health issues, and Donald Trump certainly has some undiagnosed issues, but will he be going down to the funny farm soon?

I don't know if Donald Trump will be returning to Trump Tower in January,
but there will always be a bed in the locked ward of Bellevue Hospital waiting for him.

The depths of Trump’s paranoia, and he will use government against the American people, the way that Richard Nixon did in 1971 and ’72.
