Our train kiln "Cassius Clay" is loaded and ready to pull outta the station first thing tomorrow morning. I could have started it at noon today but I have a opening of a juried show to attend this evening and I had a wee snooze this aft. It's been an exhausting week. The kiln is named Cassius Clay cause it can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. We have been stung badly when wood is not good or I get greedy with the pack. We have mostly red oak which can be a problem with coaling so I will have to keep an eye on the firebox.
I have my horse shoe and my Korean army helmet for good luck.
