Things I learned from a dumb ass potter
Dan Finnegan posted on his blog
the other day how he had froze his pots. Well my wee studio is heated with two small oil filled electric heaters. I keeps it from freezing but it is cold to work in unless I fire a bisque kiln during the night. What happens in the studio in the cold is the rims of my pots dry super quick. I usually attach the handles from the rim and end up loosing a over a third of them. So Dan thanks for your dumb ass post. I attached some little one finger handles away from the rim to cut the odds.
