Hit the ground running

My friend and fellow Canuck Heather Smit has hit the ground running. Minutes after orientation here at Starworks Heather was busting it out. Pots were lining the shelves by dinner time the first day.
As a thrower I can fill a room in not much time but this hand builder ain't no slouch in the get er done dept.
It's great to have her company, friendship and feedback.
Catherine White arrived from Virginia and is already blending wild clays. Her process is really quite amazing. Two very inspiring professionals at work.
Hear all about it this Friday night at The Starworks Tap Room when Catherine and Heather present a Power Point on their work and process. Immediately after their talk we will all zip down to The Pottery Centre for the opening of North Carolina Wood Fire Exhibition entitled "Then and Now"
-Don't miss Catherine and Heather. We are so lucky to have all this clay going on in this town. Trying to do it all.
