Santa ain't gonna make it to Tennessee.

We men  are forever shamed by the culinary delights of Sebastian Moh. Everyone on God's Green Earth wants to eat at his house. I thought you had to buy a dog to lure women and here it is much more complicated- ya got to learn to cook.
Here it is the day before Christmas and I got up at 5:30 to unload a kiln so that I could have some nice plates to serve Santa his cookies.  The plates look waaaay better in real life.
These just ain't your store bought kinda cookies. These are cookies with a special ingredient to help Santa soar high in the skies. These are ingredients from my Amish friends with a little special ancient Canadian secret added. I figure if I leave out a glass of Casamigoes and a cookie little ole Santa may well be on my couch in the morning. I'll make him my special Christmas morning breakfast like my Dad used to do-eggs, bacon, pancakes, baked beans and a Newcastle Brown Ale.
I am  really Susie Homemaker today as I am also smoking a pork tenderloin to take to my cousins tonight for dinner.
Fresh ground coffee from Las Chicas, a heart attack on a plate breakfast and a beer to toast my Dad. Miss my kids but I raised them to fly and that they do.
Merry Christmas to all my friends in the Clay Community. I love y'all to the bottom of my heart.
Gold shino with glacier pool

I gotta get that slip thicker!

Blue Ash glaze

Oh yummy eat your heart out Sebastian Moh.

And a Merry Christmas to you, my friend. I was up early, too, yesterday opening a kiln yesterday, too. Not as good a result as yours, but the first time I'm getting the shelf pattern and gas flow inside worked out and starting to get some glazes worked oot, eh?
Enjoy that pork and jingle those bells. Happy New Year.

Is the clay community a secret organization, or can anybody join in?
Great to read about the adventures of a clay curmudgeon!
